According to the statistics of China’s sci-tech papers published in 2008 which was released by the China Science and Technology Information Institute, as far as the papers collected in the database of SCI (Science Citation Index), LICP ranks 15 among domestic research institutes with 232 papers collected. So far as the papers collected in the database of EI (Engineering Index), LICP ranks 13 with 192 papers collected. In terms of the papers cited by SCI, LICP ranks 13 with 446 papers cited and 1539 times cited. Among the papers cited, there are 23 excellent papers. With regards to this, LICP ranks 19 among domestic research institutes.
