The acceptance check of the science and technology (S&T) supporting projects for Gansu province was carried out on Dec. 3 in the Lanzhou Branch of the CAS. Altogether 14 projects have been checked by the expert group headed by Prof. YANG Shengrong, vice president of the Lanzhou Branch.

The 6 projects undertaken by the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the CAS have all passed the check. The 6 projects were “Key Preparation Techniques and Industrialization of Medicines for Prostate Diseases”, "Techniques for Ten Thousands Tons Scale’s Preparation of Halogen-free Flame-retardant Cable Materials”, "Preparation of High Temperature Anti-wear Parts with Casting Penetration Technique”, "Research on Preparation Technique of Lycopene and Development of Related Soft Capsule”, "New Synthesis Techniques of Highly Active Oil Hydrotreating Nickel Formate Catalyst” and “Development and Industrialization of Deglycyrrhizic Licorice and Glycyrrhizic Acid”.
