YIN Hejun, vice president of the CAS, inspected the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the CAS on Dec.10. He visited the State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources, R&D Center of Lubricating and Protecting Materials and Baiyin Industrialization Pilot Experiment Base of the LICP. He then heard the work report of the LICP and had a discussion with the related personnel from the LICP.

YIN Hejun spoke highly of the achievements made by LICP in recent years. He pointed out that science was of great significance for China’s development. Scientists of the CAS should seize the opportunities and fulfill the mission of the CAS.

YIN Hejun also raised some advice for LICP’s future development.
