The signing ceremony

The signing ceremony of theSINANO-LICP Joint Laboratory of Nano Based Catalytic Materials and Technology was held on March 31 in Suzhou. The Laboratory was jointly established by the Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO), CAS, and the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP), CAS.

According to the agreement, the Laboratory would devote itself to developing new nano based catalytic materials and technology based the nano science with the aim to satisfy the technological needs in Suzhou and the Yangtze River delta by making full use of the respective advantages of two sides. The Laboratory will mainly focus on the following research areas: development and fabrication technologies of new nano based catalytic materials, clean catalytic materials guided by atom economy and integration and application of nano based catalytic technologies.

SHI Erwei, vice president of the CAS, attended the ceremony and made a speech.
