Headed by YANG Shengrong, vice president of the Lanzhou Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), SHI Yanping, vice director of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the CAS and director of the CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources, DI Duolong, vice director of CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources, attended the signing ceremony of the co-establishment of R&D Center for Industrialization of Desert Plant Resources between the Beijing Branch of the CAS and Alashan League Committee Administrative Office on October 16. The unveiling ceremony of the workstation for experts in the industrialization of desert plant resources was held as well.

During the ceremony, on behalf of LICP, SHI Yanping signed a cooperation agreement with Alashan League Committee Administrative Office concerning the establishment of the R&D Center for Industrialization of Desert Plant Resources. DI Duolong was invited to be a member of the r&d team for the industrialization of desert plant resources.

After the ceremony, the attendees visited the related enterprises.
