In the laboratory.

Delegation composed of staff from Bureau of S&T of Linhai, Zhejiang, and entrepreneurs from Linhai visited Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on May 20.

The delegates visited the exhibition room, State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, National Engineering Research Center of Fine Petrochemical Intermediates and CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources. They were acquainted with the history, scientific achievements and development strategies of LICP. Then they had a discussion with LICP researchers about the scientific projects they are interested in, namely preparation of isocyanate through non-phosgene route, carbonyl metal materials, high-valued utilization of northwestern plant resources, non-ionic surface active agents, etc. During the discussion, delegates from Linhai and LICP have agreed on further cooperation in the future to boost mutual development.
