Sixth Cross-Strait Symposium on Thin Film Science and Technology

Introduction:

　  With the fast development of science and technology, thin films and their fabrication have attracted more and more attention.In order to enhance the development of the preparation and application of thin films both in mainland and Taiwan, through the negotiations between the Surface Engineering Institute, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), and Taiwan Association for Coatings and Thin Films Technology (TCAT), it has been decided to hold the cross-strait symposium on thin films every year. Since 2005, altogether 5 symposiums have been held.

　  The 6th cross-strait symposium will be held in Lanzhou from August 20 to August 22, 2010.

　  About 25 representatives from thin films research field and industry circles will be invited to give reports.
