"2010 Gansu-Jiangsu Symposium on the Application of Attapulgite Clay” will be held in Lanzhou on June 19, 2010. The aim of the Symposium is to strengthen the exchanges between researchers from Gansu and Jiangsu provinces, to promote the cooperation with enterprises, to raise the technological innovation capability in attapulgite clay industry and to speed up the transformation of resources advantages in attapulgite clay into economic advantages.

　  The Symposium will center around the high-value utilization of attapulgite clay, progress made in the research on attapulgite clay, key problems to be solved and future developing trend of the research on attapulgite clay. More than 10 experts in the related field from home and abroad will be invited to give reports. Researchers and entrepreneurs will communicate and exchange views on related topics.

Registration fee and materials fee:

Fro those from institutions of higher education and research institutes, the fee is 300RMB per person. For those from enterprises, the fee is 1000RMB per person.

The accommodation and visit will be arranged by the organization committee. The hotel expense will be covered by individual attendees.

Notice:

Participants should send the acknowledgement of recipient to the organization committee before June 1, 2010. The conference papers (in word format) should be e-mailed to the organization committee before June 10, 2010.
