Introduction to Professor TANG Yong:
Professor TANG Yong is the vice director of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of State Key Laboratory of Organometallic Chemistry. He received his bachelor’s degree and doctor’s degree from Sichuan Normal University and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in 1986 and 1996 respectively. He then did postdoctoral research at Colorado State University and Georgetown University in 1996 and 1999 respectively. In 1999 he joined Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry. In 2002 he received National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
Professor TANG’s research interests include organometallic chemistry. His group has synthesized a series of catalysts using side-arm strategy and applied them in heterogeneous catalysis, Ylides chemistry and synthesis of polyolefin. Since 2000, he has published more than 90 papers in Acc. Chem. Res., J.Am. Chem.Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed and so onwith more than 2000 citations.
Look forward to your participation!
