Resume:
Dr. Xiuxun Han received the B.Sc. in Chemistry from Shandong University in 1999 and the Ph.D. in Material Physics and Chemistry from Institute of Semiconductors (CAS) in 2005. From Oct. 2005 to Feb. 2012, he worked as a researcher in Nagoya University, Saga University and Toyota Technological Institute with research topics on the low-dimensional compound semiconductor and photovoltaic devices. In Feb. 2012, he joined Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (CAS) as a Professor. He has published over 20 peer-refereed papers in journals including Appl. Phys. Lett., J. Appl. Phys., and J. Phys.: Condens. Matter, etc.
Research areas:
(1) Low-cost fabrication technology of novel compound semiconductor (CIGS, CZTS) thin-film solar cells and the related energy conversion mechanisms
(2) Design and application of novel PV device concepts based on nanotechnology
(3) Studies on III-V compound semiconductor multijunction solar cells for concentrator Photovoltaics
(4) Novel transparent electrodes for photovoltaic applications
(5) Design and fabrication of low-dimensional optoelectronic materials and devices
