Buidling A, B and C  make up a complex building. The administrative departments are located in building C. The State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication is located in building A. The State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, R&D Center for Green Chemistry and Catalysis and R&D Center for Eco-material and Eco-chemistry are located in building B.

D is the chemistry-physics building. The Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources, CAS, /Key Laboratory for Natural Medicine of Gansu Province is located there.

E is the engineering center. The National Engineering Research Center of Fine Petrochemical Intermediates is located there.

F is the material building. The R&D Center of Lubricating and Protecting Materials is located there.
