Yan Fengyuan, Ph,D,Vice Laboratory Director.
   Feng-yuan YAN, professor, male, born in Baoding, Hebei Province in Dec. 31, 1964, obtained his BA degree in Solid Physics from the department of Physics, Lanzhou University, in 1985. He received his MS degree and Ph. D degree in Physical Chemistry from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1991 and in 1997 respectively. As a Senior Visiting Scholar, he worked at School of Physics & Materials Engineering, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, from Nov. 2000 to Feb. 2002. His research interests included the tribological behaviors of materials, such as polymer composites, Functional Coatings,Tribological Mechanism,and Tribological Testing Technique. Feng-yuan Yan is the author and co-author of more than 100 papers and the applicant of 6 patents.
