Determination of PAMMO Molecular Weight and Its Distribution by GPC-MALLS Technique

Abstract: GPC coupled with multi angle laser light scattering was used to determine molecular weight and distribution of PAMMO. The light scattering principle and procedure was introduced. At the same time some key experimental factors such as dn/dc, concentration, and flow rate were discussed. It is found that when dn/dc is 0.0929, the concentration is 20~60 mg/mL, the flow-rate is 1 mL/min and under the condition that the selection of effective peak area is the occurrence of the differential peak versus the disappearance of laser peak, satisfactory results were obtained.
