Abstract: Using modern instrumental testing methods such as Fourier Transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR), scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), a water soluble paint has been tested, its IR characteristics are analysed and its chemical compositions are determined.
