Evaluation of Uncertainty for Determination of Cadmium Content in Plastic by ICP-AES

Abstract: The uncertainty for the determination of Cd in plastic by ICP-AES was evaluated. The sources of uncertainty in the process of determination of Cd, including repetitiveness, standard curve, standard solution, sample weight, and volume were analyzed. The total uncertainty for the determination was combined, and the expanding uncertainty was calculated.
