Determination of Durene Residue in Vegetables by solid-phase extraction and GC-MS

Abstract: A simply and rapid method has been established for the determination of  durene residue in vegetables by solid-phase extraction and GC-MS. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile, and cleaned up on a Florisil column, and detected by the internal standard method with GC-MS.The lowest detectable concentration in samples was 0.005 mg/kg. Samples recoveries ranged from 81.0-110%. The coeficients of variation was 1.03-3.89%.
