Abstract: This research examined the method of polyacrylamide concentration determined by HPLC.  The influence of polyacrylamide molecular mass on the measuring accuracy was discussed. Compared to classic starch-cadmium iodine, polyacrylamide concentration determined by HPLC method is accurate for well produced fluid which has much more interference factors. HPLC method is valuable for the determination of polyacrylamide in other solvents.

Key words: determining of polyacrylamide; HPLC method; starch-cadmium iodine method; molecular mass of polyacrylamide; well produced fluid
