Job Description:

The High-temperature Lubricating materials research group of State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication at Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences has 1 Research scientist and 1~2 postdoctoral positions open for a scientist with a strong interest in solid lubricating materials R & D, as well as their own research interest. The successful candidate will work on the project for developing high-temperature lubricating composites and lubricating coating.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a Ph.D or MS degree in either Material Science or Surface Engineering. 　(ⅰ) A background in High temperature metallic alloys or composites is required for the research scientist applicants, Good experience in the research of the relevant project and high temperature tribo- materials will be preferred.  (ⅱ)Strong background in preparation and characteristic of functional surface coating as well as in nano-structured thin film, and experience in the research of tribology is preferred.
