Abstract: With Ti-OC4H9 as precursor, the TiO2/PS composite material were prepared by microwave irradiating in ionic liquids([Bmim]BF4) and vacuum drying. TG, XRD, IR, XPS and SEM were employed to characterize the composite material. The influences of ionic liquid volume, microwave power, reaction temperature and reactive time on the dispersivecapability of TiO2/PSby its absorbency in ethy1 acetate and photo-catalytic activity with methyl orange as degradation agent and ultraviolet lamp as light source were tested. The results indicated that the best condition of preparing TiO2/PS was [Bmim]BF4 2.0 ml, volume ratio of Ti-OC4H9 with ST 3.4:1.1, microwave power 700W, reactive temperature 50 ℃, and reactive time 60 min. Microwave assisted preparation of TiO2/PS in[Bmim]BF4 could lower reactive temperature and shorten reactive time. The lipophilic capability of TiO2/PS had been greatly improved. And more the TiO2/PS had good dispersive capability in ethy1 acetate and exhibited high photo-catalytic activity (for degradation ratio of methyl orange. 96.2% in 1.5h).
