Abstract: Recent developments on biomimetic catalytic oxidation of organic sbustrates by metalloporphyrins based on clean oxidants of hydrogen peroxide or molecular oxygen are reviewed. The metalloporphyrins can efficently catalyze the oxidation of a variety of organic sbustrates under mild conditions.
