Abstract: The Multiple-metal Catalysts (Ni-Mn-Ce-K/bauxite) forWater-Gas Shift Reaction were prepared by equivalent-volumetric impregnation method, and characterized by TG, DTA and TPR. Meanwhile, systematic investigation was carried out to identify the optimum preparation and reduction parameters. The optimum process was as following: In the first impregnation step, the loading ratio of Ni ∶Mn∶Ce was 8∶7 ∶4 and the calcination temperature was 500 ℃; in the second impregnation step, the loading of K was 5 %, the reduction temperature was 500 ℃, besides a proper amount of steam was needed. As compared with the commercial catalysts, the Ni-Mn-Ce-K/bauxite catalyst prepared and reduced under optimum conditions exhibits more excellent catalytic performance and thermal stability for water-gas-shift reaction.
