Synthesis of Chelating Fibers Containing Amidoxime Groups (AOCF) Supported Palladium(II) Complex and its Catalytic Properties for Heck Reaction

Abstract: Chelating fibers containing amidoxime groups (AOCF) supported palladium complex (AOCF-Pd(II)) was synthesized from Polyacrylonitrile fiber via a simple method. The catalyst was characterized by FTIR, XPS, etc. The catalytic performance for Heck reaction of iodobenzene with styrenewas investigated under different reaction conditions.The results show that the catalyst has a high catalytic activity for the Heck reaction. After the catalyst was recycled for 8 times, the yield of 1, 2-stilbene is still higher than 80%. Moreover, the catalyst is easy to be separated after the reaction. For the different substrates of Heck reaction, the catalyst also shows excellent catalytic performance.
