Abstract: PFD/ Fe3O4 magnetic functional polymer materials were successfully prepared via acid-catalyzed & heat-treated process using furfuryldehyde monomer andFe3O4 powder. TEM, XRD, IR, TG-DTA and UV-Vis techniques were employed to characterize the morphology, surface structure, and optical absorption properties of the sample. Photocatalytic degradation performance was investigated using methylene blue pollutant. The results showed that the decolorizing efficiency of the MB solution reached about 85% at radiation time of 40 min and mineralizing efficiency was 47.37%.
