Preparation and Characterization of Solid Super Acid Catalyst Ce4+-SO42-/SnO2 Prepared With Microemulsion Method

Abstract: The solid superacid catalyst Ce4+ -SO42-/SnO2 was prepared by microemulsion method in OP-10 /n-butanol/cyclohexane system. The catalytic performance of the prepared catalyst was evaluated by esterification of acetic acid and n-butanol. The optimum conditions for the preparation of solid superacid Ce4+-SO42- /SnO2  are mass ratio between surfactant and solution 65∶100, content of Ce(SO4) 2·4H2O 8%, aging time 12h,concentration of impregnating solution 3 mol/L, calcining temperature 550 ℃ and calcining time 3h. And the physic-chemical properties of the materials were characterized by XRD, FTIR, TG-DTA, BET, SEM. 
