Abstract: A series of chiral diamines with novel rigid structure have been successfully applied in the Diels-Alder reaction. The effect of reaction conditions such as Brønsted acid, temperature, solvent and different substitutes on the diamines was also extensively investigated. The results showed that the Diels-Alder reaction processed smoothly with high yield and moderateenantiomeric excess under the optimized reaction conditions.
