Abstract: With nano-Fe3O4 as carrier, Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposite was synthesized by sol-gel method with tetrabutyl titanate as the precursor. The nanocomposite was charactered by TEM,XRD, XPS, and FTIR, and the results indicate Fe3O4 nanoparticles are wrapped by TiO2.The composite was applied to the treatment of wastewater containing phenolic compounds,and the results indicated that at the TiO2 contents in the range 60% -70% ,the Fe3O4/TiO2 nanocomposite shows more excellent photocatalysis activity for degradation of P-Nitrophenol and magnetic recyclability. It is found that UV light up 1.5h,wt(TiO2) is70% ,the degradation ratio of P-Nitrophenol is 98.6%.and the degradation efficiency up to 86.3% after six times.
