Abstract: Chiral monodentate phosphoramidite ligands have been successfully used in the rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of various enamides,beta-dehydroamino acid esters, alfa-dehydroamino acid esters and dimethyl itaconate. Up to 96% ee for enamides, 86% ee for beta-dehydroamino acid esters, 75% ee for dimethyl itaconate and 95% ee for alfa-dehydroamino acid esters were obtained.
Key words: Monodentate Phosphoramidite Ligands; Enamides; beta-Dehydroamino Acid Esters; alfa-Dehydroamino Acid Esters; Asymmetric Hydrogenation
