Abstract: Utilizing calcined nonferrous metal tailings as supports to propared a series of Ni based catalysts by wetness impregation method and employed in the CO2 reforming of CH4 to syngas, the appropriate calcination temperature of tailings material has been emphatically studied.ICP-AES, XRD were used to analysis the composition of tailings and the catalyst samples were also characterized by H2-TPR, CO2-TPD, TPO at the same time. The results showed that the Ni catalyst whose tailing-support calcined at 850℃ has a better redox, absorptive, anti-coking property and high catalytic activity. The conversion of CO2 and CH4 respectively was 78.5%, 71.2% ,and selectivity of CO was 92.2% when CO2 reforming of CH4 reaction was progressing at 800℃.
