A research associate position is available in the Asymmetric Synthesis research group of the State Key Laboratory of Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The project involves the design and synthesis of chiral catalysts, as well as development of novel asymmetric catalytic reactions.

 Candidates should have a PhD or MS degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. A background in synthetic organic chemistry and/or catalytic chemistry; experience of (i) dealing oxygen and water sensitive compound and (ii) knowledge of NMR and other physical techniques would be an advantage.
