About the group:

The research group for lubricating thin films prepared via physical vapor deposition (PVD) at the R&D Center of Lubricating and Protecting Materials of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is mainly engaged in the study, development and small scale production of solid lubricating thin films.

Now the group is looking for candidates who are interested in the research on solid lubricating thin films.

Positions available: research assistant

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree or above in materials and mechanical engineering;

2.  Those experienced in PVD are preferable;

3. Experience in research on PVD/chemical vapor deposition (CVD) coating facilities;

4. Capable of carrying out characterization of thin films;

5. Excellence in English;

6. Diligent and cooperative;

7. Under the age of 35;

8. High impact publications;
