About the group:

The organic functional materials research group belongs to the State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is mainly engaged in the synthesis of chiral catalysts, metal catalyzed C-H activation and synthesis of drug intermediates.

Positions available: research assistant

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree or above in organic chemistry or physical chemistry;

2. Excellence in English;

3. Diligent and cooperative;

4. Under the age of 35;

5. Those experienced in synthesis of catalysts and structural characterization, operation of water and oxygen free systems, preparation of organic compounds and single crystal cultivation are preferable;

6. Those with research experience of multi-step organic synthesis are preferable;
