2010 Sino-Japan Symposium on Tribology was held from Nov. 7 to Nov. 8 in Iwate University, Morioka, Japan.
LICP’s scientists, Prof. XUE Qunji, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Prof. WANG Liping haven been invited to participate in the Symposium. Prof. XUE made the plenary report with the title of “Recent progress of lubricating materials research”. Prof. WANG Liping from the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of the LICP was invited to give a report entitled “Multi-scale nanocomposite carbon-based tribological coatings”.
During the Symposium, the latest research progress in tribology made in China and Japan in recent years have been introduced , which is of great significance to further enhance the Sino-Japan cooperation and exchange in the basic and applied research on tribology.
The Symposium was jointly organized by the Japanese Society of Tribologist and Iwate University of Japan.
