According to the statistics of China’s sci-tech papers published in 2009 released by the China Science and Technology Information Institute, in 2009, as far as the papers collected in the database of SCI (Science Citation Index) , LICP ranks 11 among domestic research institutes with 291 papers collected. So far as the papers collected in the database of EI (Engineering Index), LICP ranks 14 with 202 papers collected.

From 2004 to 2008, in terms of the papers cited by SCI, LICP ranks 13 with 258 papers cited and about 992 citations.
