The 2010 Summing-up and Commendation Conference of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP), CAS, was held on February 17, 2011.

During the conference, director LIU Weimin introduced the guidelines of the 2011 working conference of the CAS and summarized LICP’s work in 2010. In his report, LIU Weimin also discussed LICP’s plans about the “Innovation 2020” Program of the CAS seeking to provide stronger scientific support for China's development by making breakthroughs in key fields and fostering a mass of top-notch scientific talents.

Some groups and individuals were awarded for their outstanding work in the past year by Prof. XUE Qunji, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and leaders of LICP. 

The conference was presided over by vice director, XIA Chungu. Vice director WANG Qihua, assistant director SHI Yanping and the staff of the LICP attended the conference.
