Dr. ZHENG Zijian
Dr. ZHENG Zijian from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University visited the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and gave a lecture entitled “Polymer Brushes: From 3D Nanopatterning to Textile Applications” on July 19.
In his lecture, Dr. ZHENG introduced in detail his group’s progress in accurate control of patterning of polymer brushes and the application of polymer brushes in wearable electronics in recent years.
Dr. ZHENG graduated from Tsinghua University in 2003 and received his doctoral degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2007. In 2008 he started his postdoctoral research in the Northwest University, USA. In 2009 he joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an assistant professor. His major research interests include nano-patterns and polymer brushes.
Dr. ZHENG was invited by the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of the LICP.
