Professor TANG Huiru from the Wuhan Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a lecture titled Advanced metabonomic analysis combining nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the CAS on April 30 during his academic visit there.
During his lecture which lasted two hours, Prof. TANG introduced new methods, application, development trend and problems needing to be solved in metabonomic analysis using nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry.
Introduction to Prof. TANG
Prof. TANG received his bachelor’s degree in 1986 from Shannxi University of Science and Technology and doctor’s degree in 1994 from University of London. His research interests include metabonomic analytical methods, interaction between host metabolic and intestinal flora, pathophysiological metabonomic studies. He has published more than 130 papers with more than 2000 citations.
