Headed by Jin Yeling, vice-dean of the Huaiyin Institute of Technology (HYIT), the delegation of the Key Laboratory for Attapulgite Science and Applied Technology of Jiangsu Province and Key Laboratory for Digital Technology of Jiangsu Province, visited the LICP on November 20, 2009.

Accompanied by Prof. Wang Aiqin, director of the R&D Center for Eco-material and Eco-chemistry, Prof. Jin Yeling and the delegates visited the exhibition room, State Key Laboratory of Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication and Key Laboratory of Natural Medicine of Gansu Province. The visitors were acquainted with the basic conditions of the Laboratories and the operation of equipment. And they also communicated with the S&T personnel of the LICP.

Prof. Jin said that, Zhang Yue, Party committee secretary of HYIT, visited the LICP in this July for the first time. During that visit, Prof. Xue Qunji, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, offered some valuable advice on the research work of the HYIT and the construction of the scientific research platforms of the Key Laboratory for Attapulgite Science and Applied Technology. Four months later, she came again to further communication, draw the LICP’s experience in both research and management. Prof. Jin hoped that there would be more chances to visit the LICP to strengthen the cooperation and eventually make more contributions to the S&T development in China.
