Professor Yang Yulin, Vice President of Yanshan University, Director of the National Defense Key Disciplines Laboratory of Mechanical Structure and Material Science under Extreme Conditions, visited the LICP together with Zhang Ruijun, Vice Director of the Laboratory and Qi Xiaowen, Director of the Laboratory Office on November 24, 2009.

They visited the exhibition room, State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication and were acquainted with the research areas, construction of platforms, training of staffs, instrument and equipment of the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication. Then they had a discussion with the related personnel.

Professor Yang Yulin said that, with the well-equipped research platforms, highly qualified staff and rich experience, LICP has reached world advanced level in the design and preparation of new lubricating and protecting materials and research on their tribological property. He hoped to learn from LICP’s advanced experience in research and management and provide guidance for their development planning of the Laboratory and construction of research platforms through the visit.
