Professor WANG Haihui from South China University of Technology visited Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on July 22. During his visit, he delivered a lecture entitled Separation and membrane catalysis of mixed conducting oxygen-permeable membrane.
Mixed conducting oxygen-permeable membrane is kind of important dense inorganic membrane. Compared with oxygen-producing methods used in industrial area, to generate oxygen using dense mixed conducting oxygen-permeable membrane has several advantages, such as continuous generation of oxygen, low energy consumption and low cost. In his lecture, Professor WANG Haihui introduced his group’s work on design and preparation of mixed conducting oxygen-permeable membrane and the application of the membranes in various fields.
