Structural design and performance study of codensified continuous reticular cu663/graphite self-lubricating composites

Abstract
Cu663/graphite self-lubricating composites with a high graphite content (40 vol%) were prepared using core-shell structures of graphite coated with Cu663. The influence of structural parameters on the mechanical and tribological properties of the composites was investigated, and their anti-wear mechanisms under tion conditions were discussed. Results indicated that the composites showed superior mechanical and logical properties. Composites displayed excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, with a strength of 144.28 MPa and a compressive strength of 234.66 MPa, which were 3.0-and 5.9-fold higher those of the homogeneous sample with the same graphite content, respectively. Meanwhile, the wear decreased to 5.06 x 10-6 mm3 center dot N- 1m- 1, which was one order of magnitude smaller than that of the neous sample.
