Published over 100 papers in journals home and abroad;
Obtained 15 Chinese national patents (of which 3 are issued patents);
Cultivated over 10 master and doctor students;
Academic Contributions:
Prof. Yang is mainly engaged in the research on friction materials and technology, S&T industrialization and scientific research management. The special lubricating materials and technology he developed have been transferred to enterprises in Gansu, Zhejiang, etc. Through this, high-tech stock companies have been established with good economic and social benefit achieved. Prof. Yang is in charge of the academy-locality cooperation of the Lanzhou Branch, namely the cooperation between the Lanzhou Branch and locality, which has made remarkable achievements in pushing the CAS Institutes’ contributing to the local economic development.
