Surface engineering for an enhanced photoelectrochemical response of TiO2 nanotube arrays by simple surface air plasma treatment

Abstract: A simple method to improve the photoelectrochemical performance of TiO2 nanotube arrays (NTs) by simple air plasma post-treatment is reported. The air plasma treated sample shows higher photocurrent density and incident photo current efficiency with high stability, about 3-4 times that of the pristine TiO2 NTs even after six months.
